My Accommodations

I arrived at my new home on September 17.  My host and hostess prepared my room for me before my arrival. I think the room is very cool, even though they didn't ask my opinion before designing it.

They knew my favorite sports team was the New York Yankees and they wallpapered the room with Yankee Pinstripes and Yankee Border. They provided me a NY Yankee Toy box filled with toys and stuffed animals.  (See some pictures below.)

First Week

I've been on this Journey for 7 days.  It's been a hard life so far.  I arrived here on September 15 at 9:52 pm after I was evicted from my nice warm cozy home for the last 41 weeks.  My first evening here was very interesting I was weighed, poked, proded, had gel placed in my eyes. I met my Mom, Dad, Grandma Caltabiano and Aunt Lisa.  I thought they seem like nice people so maybe this won't be so bad.

Then we were forced to leave the hospital with around the clock care and go outside.  Outside I was strapped into a seat and placed in my first car ride.  I don't know if I like cars, the ride was a little bumpy.

When we arrived at my new home I met Mattey and Yogi.  I recognized Mattey's howl very quickly.  While there is still time, I think we will eventually be best friends. On Saturday and Sunday, we had many visitors come over.

This week I found my fingers and hands, they can be quite soothing when I'm upset.

My host and hostess (mommy and daddy) are trying their hardest to satisfy my every whim.  Although it takes them a while to figure out what I really want they eventually get it and all is good with the world.
